ESP ECLIPSE 40TH TE 2015 Tiger Eye Electric Guitar 27/40
The ESP ECLIPSE 40TH TE delivers a balanced, responsive platform for tracking and layering thanks to its set-thru-neck construction and Thin U neck contour, designed for extended range work without sacrificing comfort during long studio sessions. This limited edition 27/40 specimen showcases a striking Tiger Eye finish over flamed maple, combining visual clarity in footage and photographs with tonal substance that translates well across mix applications. The 24.75″ scale and Ebony fingerboard provide the articulation and sustain expected from a professional-grade studio instrument.
Construction & Recording Performance
Set-thru-neck construction anchors the Maple neck directly through a Mahogany body with flamed maple top, creating a rigid platform for consistent intonation and superior sustain across session takes. The 12″ fingerboard radius paired with 22 XJ frets accommodates both smooth legato lines and precise bending, while flamed maple binding on the fretboard and headstock reinforces the build quality and visual definition in close-up recording setups.
Electronics & Tonal Character
Dual Seymour Duncan APH-1 pickups—neck and bridge—deliver the articulate, focused tone characteristic of active or high-output designs, cutting clearly in dense mixes and tracking well across rhythm and lead applications. Gotoh locking tuners, a Tonepros locking TOM bridge, and Gotoh tailpiece with gold hardware ensure rock-solid tuning stability across multiple takes and session time, maintaining consistent tone capture without drift or retuning interruptions.
