A collection of nude portraits, all set on the same mattress. Friedler’s ‘Mattress’ features work that is strikingly different from his three previous books, but which is essentially a variation on the same theme. The concept involves a single, unmoved mattress and a selection of different women, interacting in their own way with the mattress to create this beautiful series of portraits.
