Designed in collaboration with RUSH drummer Neil Peart, this splash combines responsive character with professional-grade construction for studio tracking and live performance.
Construction & Materials
Pure SABIAN B20 bronze combined with AA-hammered bows, hand-hammered cups, pinpoint lathing on the tops, and coarse lathing on the bottoms creates a refined yet articulate sonic profile. This traditional hammering and lathing approach provides controlled sustain with clear definition across the frequency spectrum, translating predictably whether captured close-mic’d or blended in a full drum kit overhead scenario.
Weight & Response
The thin weight classification at approximately 224 grams ensures quick responsiveness and minimal effort to activate, ideal for tracking sessions requiring sensitivity and dynamic range. The lighter mass permits nuanced control and articulation when laying down soft accents or punctuating passages with decisive cuts in the mix.
