Sabian 13″ SBr Hi-Hats
The Sabian 13″ SBr Hi-Hats deliver a tight, responsive feel with crisp articulation that cuts through any mix. These medium-weight cymbals pair uniform machine hammering with a natural finish to produce clean, controlled sounds—closing them for a sharp ‘chick’ or opening them for fullness. Built for recording sessions and studio work that demand precision and clarity in hi-hat articulation, the SBr series offers straightforward, dependable performance at an accessible price point.
Sound & Tone
The bright, crisp character and high pitch provide excellent cutting power in studio tracking and mixing contexts. Closed, these cymbals deliver a tight, articulate ‘chick’ with clean stick response ideal for capturing definition in a crowded drum mix; opened, they produce loud, full wash without muddiness—a balanced profile that works across multiple musical styles and playing dynamics.
Design & Build
Crafted from premium brass in a bronze alloy formulation specific to the SBr series, these cymbals feature uniform machine hammering and a hammered and lathed surface that contribute to their focused, refined sound. The medium thickness and medium weight pairing ensure responsive feel under the stick while maintaining structural durability through extended studio sessions.
