SABIAN 4″ Center Hammered Triangle
The SABIAN 4″ Center Hammered Triangle delivers a bright, articulate strike with excellent cut through dense arrangements and complex mixes. This compact percussion tool produces a rich, complex timbre that sits cleanly in session work without overwhelming surrounding instruments. Built for studio tracking, overdubbing, and percussion layering, it offers the refined character that engineers and producers expect from SABIAN’s percussion line.
Tone & Acoustic Character
Dense center hammering produces a rich timbre with distinctive overtones that record clearly across microphone placement and mixing chains. The multi-surfaced center-hammered area generates a single, cohesive sound with depth and sustain that translates well to both close-mic and room-mic recording techniques.
Design & Build
Constructed from B8 bronze in a heavier gauge, this triangle resists tonal fatigue across multiple takes and maintains consistent character session after session. Unhammered areas at the corners preserve structural integrity while the carefully worked center delivers the acoustic signature that defines this instrument’s studio voice.
