SABIAN 5″ B8 Bronze Triangle
The SABIAN 5″ B8 Bronze Triangle delivers a bright, articulate strike with modest shimmer and extended sustain—a compact, responsive percussion voice ideal for tracking, layering, and mixing into recordings. Its 3/8″ diameter rod construction provides excellent clarity and definition across soft to moderate dynamic playing, making it a go-to choice for producers and engineers seeking reliable brightness that sits cleanly in a mix without excessive wash.
Material & Construction
Built from B8 cymbal alloy—a composition of 92% copper, 8% tin, and trace silver—this triangle exhibits the warm yet cutting tonal characteristics typical of premium bronze percussion. The 3/8″ diameter phosphor bronze rod ensures consistent response and durability through regular studio use and repeated takes.
Sonic Character
This model produces a bright sound with a good dynamic range suited to soft and moderate playing intensities. The long sustain allows percussive layers to bloom naturally in the track, while the modest shimmer cuts through dense arrangements and vocal mixes without muddying the midrange or competing with melodic elements.
