SABIAN 6″ HH B8 Bronze Triangle
The SABIAN 6″ HH B8 Bronze Triangle is a compact, responsive percussion tool that brings bright articulation and surprising projection to studio recording sessions and live tracking. Hand-hammered construction produces organic tonal complexity that cuts cleanly through dense mixes while maintaining musical refinement. This triangle shines in orchestral overdubs, contemporary composition work, and world music tracking where precise tone and consistent take-to-take reliability are essential.
Material & Construction
Built from hand-hammered B8 Bronze with an alloy composition of 8% tin and 92% copper plus trace silver, this triangle produces consistent, predictable resonance across recording sessions. Hand-hammering imparts subtle variations in the metal that contribute to warmth and character impossible to achieve through industrial casting alone—translating to richer, more natural recordings.
Sonic Character & Mix Integration
The 6″ size generates a higher pitch range with quick attack and articulate definition that sits clearly in the frequency spectrum without masking adjacent instruments. Rich shimmer combined with long sustain allows the triangle to punch through dense orchestration when struck at full force, while soft mallets deliver delicate accents and shimmers ideal for intimate passages and post-production layering.
