SABIAN Flat Key
The SABIAN Flat Key is a drum key engineered to fit seamlessly into your pocket or keychain, delivering the full tuning functionality of a standard key in a minimalist form factor. Its slim profile—as thin as a house key—makes it the practical choice for engineers and producers who need reliable drum tuning without the bulk of conventional tools. Despite its compact footprint, this key maintains complete functionality for tension rod adjustment across all drum types.
Studio Workflow & Portability
Built with a simplistic, streamlined aesthetic, the Flat Key prioritizes accessibility and convenience during recording sessions. Its keychain attachment capability means your tuning tool travels with your kit or session gear without adding measurable weight or taking up dedicated space in your hardware pouch, keeping your studio workflow uncluttered and efficient.
Functionality & Build
This is SABIAN’s smallest fully functional drum key, proving that compact design doesn’t compromise on performance. The tapered, key-like geometry provides secure purchase on tension rods while maintaining the mechanical advantage needed for quick and reliable drum head tuning during tracking sessions or setup between takes.
