Sound & Tone
The basswood body with flamed maple top and 25.5″ scale gives a balanced midrange with clear, snappy attack, while the ebony fretboard and hardtail string-thru bridge tighten the response and extend sustain. The Schecter USA Sunset Strip bridge pickup brings articulate highs and cut for lead work and driven rhythm, and the Pasadena Classic in the neck rounds things out with warmer lows, with the 5-way switch covering the ground between them. It suits modern rock, fusion and session-style playing where fast runs on the 24-fret neck and a wide range of clean-to-gain voices are both needed.
Schecter Sunset-6 Extreme Guitar Grey Ghost
The Sunset-6 Extreme delivers a slim, fast-playing neck with an ultra-thin “C” profile and carbon fiber reinforcement for tonal consistency and intonation stability in the studio. The Grey Ghost finish presents a sophisticated aesthetic, while the bolt-on construction with ultra access ensures straightforward maintenance and adjustment between sessions. Built as a versatile recording platform that captures articulate highs and sustained lows without compromise.
Playability & Recording Performance
The 5-piece maple/rosewood neck with carbon fiber reinforcement rods resists neck dive and warping, essential for maintaining tuning stability across long tracking sessions. The ultra-thin “C” profile measures just 0.748″ at the 1st fret and 0.787″ at the 12th fret, enabling quick position changes and comfortable extended-range playing across the 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets on a 16″ radius ebony fretboard.
Tone & Electronics
The Schecter USA Sunset Strip bridge pickup and Schecter USA Pasadena Classic neck pickup deliver articulate highs and warm lows with a master volume and 5-way toggle switch for intuitive tonal shaping during recording and mixing. The Schecter Diamond Hardtail Plus bridge with string-thru-body design maximizes sustain and tuning stability across the 25.5″ scale, ensuring predictable tracking and overdub performance.
