“Lalo Schifrin’s cult-status grooves return to wax with a new brace and the first instalment in a new, small-run series spotlighting rare soundtrack cuts and studio outtakes. Pulled straight from the 1970s Dirty Harry score, these two tracks deliver peak Schifrin: tense, street-wise funk, razor-edged rhythms and cinematic swagger made for samplers, break-hunters and soundtrack heads alike. A second-press but still pure gold and essential heat from a master whose gritty vignettes remain untouchable. – Dirty Harry
