The Telex TR-300 portable beltpack transceiver is engineered for use with the BTR-300 single-channel VHF base station, forming a flexible two-way communication system. It enables full-duplex operation, allowing users to talk and listen simultaneously, much like a wired system. The unit operates on selected frequencies within the 150-216 MHz band and utilizes crystal-controlled frequency stabilization and an internal compressor for clear audio transmission with minimal RF interference. The robust, roadworthy molded construction makes it durable for demanding environments. Power comes from six “AA” alkaline batteries, providing up to 24 hours of continuous use, or optional NiMH batteries which can be recharged while remaining inside the beltpack. The beltpack features both push-to-talk and lock-to-talk modes for operational versatility. Read more
