Peak Performance and Unparalleled Sound Quality
The MG Series from Yamaha is designed to deliver peak performance and unparalleled sound quality, making it the perfect choice for a wide range of audio engineers and applications. With the MG10, you can shape your sound with confidence, knowing that you’ll get the best possible results every time.
D-PRE Mic Preamps for Warm and Fat Sound
The preamp is where your sound begins, and Yamaha’s D-PRE mic preamp is designed to deliver the fattest and warmest sound possible. With lower impedance and more power, the D-PRE mic preamp ensures that your original sound is delivered with fat, natural sounding bass and smooth, soaring highs.
1-Knob Compression for Easy Mixing
Compressing your sound is easy with the MG10’s 1-knob compression on channels 1 and 2. This intelligent compressor adds optimally set compressions to give you a livelier guitar, punchier bass line, tighter snare, or cleaner vocal sound with the touch of a single knob.
Switchable Phantom Power and PAD Switch for Flexibility
The MG10 features switchable phantom power, allowing you to take full advantage of the greater frequency response and sound quality of condenser microphones. The input channels with PAD switch also accept MIC to line level inputs, and the PAD switch reduces high input signals to avoid clipping.
EQ and High-Pass Filters for Refined Control
The MG10 features 3-band equalizers on all mono channels and 2-band equalizers on stereo channels, giving you refined control over your tone. High-pass filters also allow you to eliminate unwanted low-frequency noise, resulting in a smoother, cleaner mix.
Built to Last for Years of Peak Performance
The MG10 is designed to withstand the rigors of recording and installed applications, with an emphasis on durability and practical features that offer flexibility and peak performance for many years to come.
